“I was very scared”, Aayush Sharma on working with Salman Khan

Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan are coming together for the film which was a remake of a Marathi movie. Aayush is playing the role of a villain in another hand we will see Salman Khan as a cop. The dreaded gangster movie name is Antim: The Final Truth, Aayush Sharma who plays a different kind of role parts right from the beginning. He debuted in 2018 with the romantic drama Loveyatri, starting with Warina Hussain as female lead backed by his superstar brother-in-law Salman Khan. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, Antim, is an adaption of the Marathi hit Mulshi Pattern (2018) which was a crime thriller.

“I was mostly getting college boy roles and I didn’t feel the need to continue doing the same chocolate boy pars. If I need a make a mark for myself as an actor, I need to do something different. I am lucky I got the Mulshi Pattern(adaption), it is helping me broaden my horizon. I want to explore myself. I have no qualms about making mistakes,” Aayush Sharma said in an Interview.

Playing a dark character he added, “There is something interesting about their journey. Initially, when I heard the film, I had reservations as the character is too dark and that I might be perceived as a villain and people might typecast me in the villain category. But then I realized that nobody in this world is born as a villain, it is what the experience makes them. So, it’s a journey that excited me- from having a decent upbringing to what he becomes, there was a character arc”.

Talking about working with brother-in-law Salman khan Aayush said, “I was told four-five months later that he(Salman) wants to come in. I was very scared then. I genuinely feel very lucky that I am going to work with the biggest superstar. We are very comfortable with each other. But the fact is that Salman Khan is on the sets and we never cross the line with him. It is not like a brother-like conversation, there is seniority that you have to maintain.”

The movie also features Nikitin Dheer, popular TV actress Mahima Makwana, and Pragya Jaiswal, who predominantly works in Telugu movies, Antim is set to be released on 26 November.
