The Batman which stars Robert Pattison is run time as the longest to date. According to the latest reports on Hollywood news portals, the film is set to have the longest running time of any solo Batman flick and one of the longest superhero movies made for a theatrical release. Variety confirmed that the film will be two hours and 47 minutes long (167 minutes), without the end credits. It is expected to go beyond the 3-hour mark with end credits.
With this, ‘The Batman’ comes in just behind ‘Avengers: Endgame’ that had a run-time of 181 minutes. The record holder for longest superhero film belongs to director Zack Snyder for ‘Justice League: The Snyder Cut’ at four hours and two minutes. However, the film never played in cinemas, but was released directly on OTT streaming platforms.’
The film that is slated for release on March 4, 2022, features an ensemble cast with Pattinson in the title role and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman. The film will see Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot aka Penguin.
